Equipment
Before you begin biking, you need to have the right equipment with you. You should wear the proper clothes as they can help how you feel along your ride. You should also wear the right shoes and helmet as these are critical for keeping you safe. Bike horns and seat cushions are important as well, and you should not go out until you are completely prepared.
Fluids
No matter how long or short your ride is, you should not go without water and proper fluids. Getting dehydrated will only hurt and hinder you from doing more. Be sure to take several sips as you go along, or else you may also find yourself cramping up and become weary faster. As you ride, your body will be losing a lot of fluids from sweating, and it’s vital that you keep yourself hydrated at all times.
Location
While you can bike just about anywhere, even along the side of the road, you may find it more fulfilling if you have somewhere to go. Some enjoy riding through different parks, while others may prefer taking laps around a track. When you’re first starting out, you want to check the terrain to make sure it’s something that is suitable and easy to handle. As you become more accustomed to riding, then you can switch up the places you go to.
