Healthworks is pricey but effectively value it contemplating the facilities and empowering atmosphere of the gym. I feel just like the membership mainly pays for itself as soon as I go a couple of times per week. After being part of cheaper (and lesser quality) gyms, I finally decided to make the swap to Healthworks and haven’t regretted it since. The gym helped me depart my outdated gym contract with out bother, and even gave me credit score towards my commonly scheduled month-to-month cost.

Be warned. when you walk in the door, even if it’s just on a free 7 day go from a pal they’ll harass you for weeks and weeks on end asking you to affix. I have advised at the least 4 different people that work there that I am not inquisitive about becoming a member of their health club, but I still receive numerous emails and phone calls. I merely went in at some point with a buddy to join her as she had a free cross to give. I instructed the lady up entrance after I stuffed out the waiver that I was not keen on membership. Honestly, the most important mistake I’ve ever made was moving into this gym. They are clearly desperate for members to the purpose of relentless harassment. I will never ever ever step foot within the Porter Square Healthworks once more. I’m completely fed up and pissed off with this gym and would encourage everyone I know to look elsewhere. There are less expensive non-harassing places to work out in Cambridge.Healthworks

Pros: – Women-only atmosphere makes me extra comfy understanding, which is not something I anticipated as I actually have all the time been a member of co-ed gyms with out a lot second thought – Lots of classes, I think they advised me over 200 every week – Corporate charges with many local firms imply you can get reductions on dues – Whirlpool, steam room, and sauna are good facilities – Locker rooms are nice and very clean – Convenient location – Lots of cardio machines Cons: – Many of the classes are through the work week hours, so I can not attend – Heavy on the nudity within the locker rooms, whirlpool, etc. – Not an excessive amount of free area, since there are many trainers working with purchasers – Aggressive sales ways (guess it worked on me although!) – Single day guest passes are $30!! Outrageous.

I’ve been to quite a few gyms throughout Boston and never actually felt comfortable. I stick to using the weight space and at different gyms, it tends to be full and brought about a lot of dudes. I by no means felt snug so I was trying into an all female fitness center. I’ve been to Healthworks earlier than with classpass and at all times thought of getting a membership. It wasn’t until a few weeks ago that I bit the bullet and signed up right here. I am very comfortable to date. The time I go it’s never really packed, there’s a whole lot of weights and completely different machines, they’ve a whole lot of cardio machines should you’re into that, and a superb quantity of courses per day. I like however have not utilized a few of the additional amenities like the therapeutic massage, jacuzzi, and sauna, however I like that it’s available if I ever want to use it. Overall, I’m very pleased with signing up for this gymnasium!
